The New Version of EMCO Remote Registry Merge Simplifies Registry Management Over a Network
EMCO announces version 2.0 of its Remote Registry Merge utility. The new version offers simplified registry management on Windows computers over a local network. It provides registry export and import, tasks execution on schedule and other features.

The new version includes a number of new features and improvements that simplify registry management over a local network. Using the new version of this utility, network administrators can automate registry export,backup and merge operations on remote Windows PCs located in a local network.

Remote Registry Merge is a utility designed to be used in local area networks to allow network administrators to read and modify registry settings on remote computers. It can be used to export registry data from remote PCs to a centralized database in form of files in the Regedit format and to apply the changes stored in a Regedit file to the registry of the network computers. Using these features, network administrators can read and modify registry keys and values stored on computers located in a local network.

Version 2.0 allows administrators to schedule registry export and merge tasks, so that they can be executed automatically on a required date and at scheduled time. The task execution schedule can be managed through an intuitive visual interface. The utility allows creating =tasks for both one-time and recurrent execution. Administrators can either check the execution state for every task on every computer through the visual interface or configure the utility to send notifications of tasks execution by e-mail. Such notifications provide per-computer reports on executed tasks.
