George L. Regis Named a VIP Member of Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Data Processing
Mr. Regis celebrates a 41-year career as a senior system analyst and programmer
/Computer News Articles/ -- TEMPE, AZ, January 26, 2011, George Regis, Retired Senior System Analyst and Programmer, has been named a VIP Member by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.
With 41 years of experience in data processing and 39 years of experience as a senior system analyst and programmer prior to his retirement, Mr. Regis specializes in data processing and computer maintenance. He was responsible for programming, consulting with clients regarding their business and financial plans, and assisting in enhancing core applications. Mr. Regis worked as a mechanic for a local Chevrolet dealer, as well as a mechanic for the Michigan National Guard and the U.S. Air Force. He has received 39 certificates for attending IBM classes, and he attributes his success to his dedication and hard work. He became involved in his profession after gaining experience working in data processing sorting cards as a clerk in 1958. As a result, he gained an in-depth understanding of how the machines worked. The most gratifying aspect of his career was being able to help and teach others about data processing.
Mr. Regis completed coursework at Finlandia University, Hancock, MI. He is a member of the Korean War Veterans Association. In years to come, Mr. Regis will continue to be retired and happy.
