Tammy Ahrens Troubleshoots Her Way to Success

HEREFORD, AZ, January 24, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tammy L. Ahrens, Network Technician for General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in information technology.

Utilizing her expertise in systems administration, Ms. Ahrens has fulfilled her role as network technician at General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. for the last four years. She carries out varied tasks for the global telecommunications company, troubleshooting computer issues, programming switches and routers, and replacing hard drives and motherboards. She first became involved in her profession through her interest in computers. With nine years of experience in her field, she attributes her success to the support of her husband.

Ms. Ahrens is pursuing a master's degree in information systems engineering from Western International University. She earned a bachelor's degree from Wayland Baptist University in 2009. Awarded for her academic excellence, she was recognized as a Listee on the National Dean's List. In the future, Ms. Ahrens hopes to attain certifications in her field and establish herself in the computer industry.
